While Apple has been getting praises for the new, lightweight MacBook released in April, some users are begining to realize that the new version while it may look good, some new features are causing more hassle and trouble.
Among them is Brooke Crothers, who just purchased the device and discovered a major flaw. The single port is not compatible with any current displays, including his LED cinema display.
Earlier, Anthony Craig was saddened by the fact he can no longer use the Thunderbolt Display with the 12-inch Macbook.
The company admits that the higher versions of MacBooks such as the MacBook Pro can support Apple displays because doing so requires a lot of horsepower. The new MacBook functions like a mobile laptop, with its performance similar to the 2011 MacBook Air.
Due to the integration of a single USB-C port, users are forced to purchase accessories just so they can use standard USB devices. This proved to be inconvenient and costly to many.
For the new MacBook, Apple focused on creating an impressive-looking and lightweight design, which led to the compromising of hardware power. The notebook is only 13.1mm thin and weighs at 2lbs and multiple USB and Thunderbolt ports, as well as the SD card slot were omitted to achieve this slim structure.
The Financial Post warns everyone to think before purchasing the new Macbook.

However, despite the naysayers, the new Apple MacBook seems to be heading the pack toward what the future of laptops and mobile computing will look like. Storing data in the cloud will be preferred by the majority, making desktop apps obsolete.
As more people will likely do various tasks on the Internet, high-end processors and bulky machines will no longer be a necessity.
