CeeLo Green Songs: ‘The Voice’ Coach Releases ‘Robin Williams’ Honoring ‘Good Will Hunting’ Actor [AUDIO]

The very sudden Robin Williams death last summer, almost one year ago, shook the world in its entirety, particularly after it came out it had been a suicide following years of depression, and fans of the beloved actor have poured in his support to his loved ones - and the tributes now include one of CeeLo Green's songs.

The newest of CeeLo Green's songs, "Robin Williams," is the first single of his upcoming album, and he decided to homage the actor and comedian behind films like "Good Will Hunting" and the Genie's voice in Disney's classic animated film "Aladdin."

Hollywood Life has called the latest of CeeLo Green's songs as a "catchy song with a purpose," dedicated not only to the beloved comedian but also to other Hollywood legends that have passed too soon, including Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman and legendary "SNL" cast members Phil Hartman, John Belushi and Chris Farley.

"'Robin Williams' is a homage to our humanity," said the former coach of "The Voice" in a statement about the latest among CeeLo Green's songs, according to Entertainment Weekly, "centered [on] the strength it takes to smile in the face of adversity."

Green released the new lyric video of "Robin Williams" over the past weekend, and it's actually an interactive affair on his website, as paired up with Google it creates a different experience.

According to Mashable, where the clip premiere, the newest of CeeLo Green's songs is "more like a lyric video, since the song's words are used to power what pops up in the search engine," as the user can actually change tabs to see different things from the experience.

Green told the website that he'd dedicated the song to some of the artists that have made him laugh throughout hard times in his personal and professional career, as the song focuses on letting go of the pain of sadness although not knowing how the other person feels.
