Casting Call! 'Game of Thrones' Is Holding Auditions For the Sixth Season

Good news to 'Game of Thrones' fanatics, the chance for avid viewers to become part of one of the most popular television series is now possible. It may be a great departure the couch to the front of the camera. 

HBO recently announced that they are looking for new actors to join the cast of the of the season 6 fantasy epic. The network is looking for male and female aged between 25-46 years old. Interested applicants must be able to work from July 19 to July 22 this year. The Shooting location is in Valencia, which includes filming at the beach.

According to Business Insider the casting call statement states that roles vary with the applicant's background. Some will be placed as background actors and some lucky applicant's will be "recurring and starring" roles, which will be announce during the process.

For the undefined roles, applicants should be "legally eligible to be hired in acting roles in the United Kingdom" and "starring and supporting roles are mostly be cast through talent agents in London."

For the fans who are interested to join the audition and are wondering how they can earn a role, there are the audition videos that feature some of the famous faces in the series. These can serve as peg for the hopefuls. Belfast Telegraph released some tapes, showing the actors auditioning for the fantasy hit series 'Game of Thrones.'  

Meanwhile, Bran Stark, who was not featured in the last series is returning for the sixth season of HBO's highly anticipated Game of Thrones Season 6.

Isaac Hempstead-Wright confirmed the news to Irish Examiner, "I can't say a lot, but I am back this season, and it's going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions."

The actor who plays the handicapped prince in the series will be start filming his scenes for the new series at the end of this month.  

For Jon Snow the network hasn't confirmed whether or not he is coming back in the new series.
