Eminem: Gwen Stefani Calls Slim Shady ‘Real Weirdo’ After ‘Kings Never Die’ Collab! [SONG+VIDEO]

Eminem is making a huge comeback these days, from his recent interview with Stephen Colbert up until the release of his latest single, a collaboration between two of the biggest stars of the 1990s, Eminem and Gwen Stefani - and the former No Doubt singer has opened up about working with the Slim Shady!

The rapper is making a "Phenomenal" comeback these days, and the new collab between Eminem and Gwen Stefani, "Kings Never Die," proves the 42 year-old still has it, as he faces off with the singer - who, although loved working with him, isn't afraid to call Eminem a "real weirdo."

"He's so incredible. He's a real artist. He's a real weirdo," said the coach of "The Voice" to Entertainment Tonight recently, speaking about the Eminem and Gwen Stefani collaboration. "I just finally got the call. It was one of those days where they were like, 'Can you come do this?' And I was like, 'Really? Really?' And they were like, 'It has to be done today.' And I was like, 'Ok!' And I just made it happen."

USA Today describes the song featuring Eminem and Gwen Stefani as a "combination of self-motivation and desperation," comparing it to "Lose Yourself," the track he wrote for his 2002 starring vehicle "8 Mile" - a song that ultimately won him the Oscar.

The new Eminem and Gwen Stefani song, the first time the two stars work together in spite of having become famous at around the same time, is part of the soundtrack for the film "Southpaw," a boxing movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal in a role that Eminem himself was meant to take at first.

Noise11 reports that the song was released last Friday, July 10, ahead of the theater release of "Southpaw" on July 24.

The movie also stars Oscar winner Forest Whitaker as well as "True Detective" actress Rachel McAdams.
