Actor and Comedian Jim Carrey has taken to his official Twitter account to protest the state of California's newly signed vaccination laws. The new legislation, which was passed into law this Monday, requires children attending school in the state to be submitted to mandatory vaccine treatments with exemptions only being granted for medical reasons.
Carrey began his tirade by slamming California Governor Jerry Brown, calling him a 'corporate facist' and says that Brown is promoting the poisoning of children due to the high amounts of mercury and aluminium found in these vaccines.
"California Gov says yes to poisoning more children with mercury and aluminum in manditory vaccines. This corporate fascist must be stopped."

In his signing address last Monday, Brown said: "The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases. While it's true that no medical intervention is without risk, the evidence shows that immunization powerfully benefits and protects the community." Carrey then says that he isn't against the use of Vaccines per se but against the harmful substances that many of them contain such as Thimerosal and the aforementioned Mercury.
"I am not anti-vaccine. I am anti-thimerosal, anti-mercury. They have taken some of the mercury laden thimerosal out of vaccines. NOT ALL!" — Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) July 1, 2015
He then implores his Twitter followers to visit the website traceamounts.com, and instructs them to view the documentary whiche details how the presence of Mercury in vaccines may lead to autism in children.
"Go to https://t.co/SlY91SQmCj watch the documentary and judge for yourselves. If you really care about the kids you will. It's shocking!"

This claim has already been debunked by an extensive study which was published in sciencedirect in June of last year. The study shows that:
- There was no relationship between vaccination and autism (OR: 0.99; 95% CI: 0.92 to 1.06).
- There was no relationship between vaccination and ASD (autism spectrum disorder) (OR: 0.91; 95% CI: 0.68 to 1.20).
- There was no relationship between [autism/ASD] and MMR (OR: 0.84; 95% CI: 0.70 to 1.01).
- There was no relationship between [autism/ASD] and thimerosal (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.77 to 1.31).
- There was no relationship between [autism/ASD] and mercury (Hg) (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.93 to 1.07).
- Findings of this meta-analysis suggest that vaccinations are not associated with the development of autism or autism spectrum disorder.
Carrey closes his argument with by hinting at the big money business behind these vaccines and demands that vaccines be toxin free. The entirety of Carrey's comments are viewable on his official Twitter page.
