Jon Stewart Invites Long Time Adversaries like Sarah Palin and Bill O'Reilly to Guest in Daily Show Finale

Jon Stewart's time in front of the Daily Show desk is nearing its end. On August 6, the comedian will deliver his signature brand of satirical news for the last time. However, before the 52 year old vacates the show for good, he's giving some of his enemies' the chance to finally exact their revenge.

The New York Post has reported that Stewart and his representatives at Comedy Central have begun reaching out to some of the long running political figures and news personalities the show has frequently skewered for a special segment that will air during the finale.

Even though the openly liberal Stewart has claimed in the past to be an "equal opportunity offender", the most frequent (and highly publicized) targets of his comedy usually hail from the right wing.

Some of Stewart's frequent punching bags during his 16 year stint on The Daily Show include Republican Party members such as Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Ted Cruz. Fox News anchors like Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly will also be in the mix. Rounding out the list are popular conservative figureheads like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Donald Trump.

The Latin Post has a detailed outline of what to expect from the segment:

"The segment for this part of the finale show will feature a pre-taped back-and-forth between Stewart and all of his foes who will be allowed to use the "F-word" as freely as they wish. The segment will then air on the show with what viewers can expect to be a lot of "bleeps" that are meant to cover up the vulgar words."

The last days of Stewart's tenure are shaping up to be pretty interesting to say the least. South African comedian Trevor Noah will take the reins of The Daily Show after Stewart bids the show adieu this August.
