Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment executed the campaign for the 'Jaws' 40th Anniversary. Ben Mankiewicz, aTurner Classic Movie host, welcome 'Jaws' with a special introduction during its 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. local screening times.
The movie was adapted from the best-selling novel of Peter Benchley. 'Jaws' was a breath of fresh air for the moviegoers in the summer of 1975. Award-winning director Steven Spielberg's adaptation was far from the films that were shown during that time.

Meanwhile, Fathom Events officially published on its website today the local theaters screening "Jaws" in XD or IMAX. Other cinemas will have the 40th anniversary special of 'Jaws' on regular screening.
