'Jaws' Turns 40: Returns to Theaters June 21 and June 24, 2015

Steven Spielberg's classic blockbuster 'Jaws' turns 40 this year and treats fans by returning to theaters on June 21 and June 24, 2015. Tickets for the two-day only special movie comeback event are now out. Anticipating fans of 'Jaws' can purchase tickets today, May 29, from the participating theaters nationwide or from Fathom Event's official website.

Forty years after, fans of the terrifying 'Jaws' will get another treat of the 70's blockbuster hit movie as it returns to theaters for a special two-day only event. Around 500 theaters all over the United States will screen the classic film. Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment executed the campaign for the 'Jaws' 40th Anniversary. Ben Mankiewicz, aTurner Classic Movie host, welcome 'Jaws' with a special introduction during its 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. local screening times.

The movie was adapted from the best-selling novel of Peter Benchley. 'Jaws' was a breath of fresh air for the moviegoers in the summer of 1975. Award-winning director Steven Spielberg's adaptation was far from the films that were shown during that time.

Meanwhile, Fathom Events officially published on its website today the local theaters screening "Jaws" in XD or IMAX. Other cinemas will have the 40th anniversary special of 'Jaws' on regular screening.
