Victoria’s Secret Angel Josephine Skriver To Dolce and Gabbana: ‘I am not synthetic’ [VIDEO]

Top Victoria's Secret Angel Josephine Skriver defends herself against the harsh comments Dolce & Gabbana threw in an interview with Panorama Magazine. The renowned designers made an abrasive remark saying : "I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog."

Victoria's Secret Angel Skriver, a proud beauty born through in vitro fertilization (IVF) to a lesbian mother and gay father, wrote in a Huffington Post, "Fully Human," where she sought the anti-LGBT community to see her as 'who' she is as a person rather than 'what'.

"I am human. I have the capacity to love and to be loved. I feel empathy. I have a mind that allows me to form opinions and to gain perspective on situations and the world around me. I am an opinion-former. I hurt. I feel joy. I feel gratitude. I am a daughter to two beautiful people, who both happen to be gay. I am a sister to a boy who is also human and who has the same capabilities as I do. I am a friend. I am a lover. I am a dreamer. I am certainly many things, but one thing I am not -- is synthetic".

Meanwhile, the team designer's remarks got into Elton John's nerves. Through Instagram, the English singer and songwriter, also a father of IVF children, said:

"How dare you refer to my beautiful children as "synthetic". And shame on you for wagging your judgmental little fingers at IVF - a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfil their dream of having children. Your archaic thinking is out of step with the times, just like your fashions. I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. #BoycottDolceGabbana".

Danish model Josephine turned lemons into lemonade using her fame to raise awareness on LGBT and empower other children born via IVF to rise up against critics.

Victoria's Secret Angel Skriver is currently an ambassador for Family Equality Council's Outspoken Generation program. The program empowers children of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer (LGBTQ) to start speaking out. She recently released a video with I-D magazine sharing her experience as an IVF baby and what it is like to grow up as a child of LGBT parents. Skriver aims to bring hope to other kids like her.

"Be happy and proud of how amazingly courageous your parents are!"
