‘Dancing with the Stars’ Alfonso Ribeiro Critical; Might Left the Show for Good Because of the Carlton Dance!

"Dancing with the Stars" front-runner Alfonso Ribeiro was injured during the rehearsals last Wednesday which is also the main reason why he needs to quit DWTS few days before the show's semifinals.

"We can confirm Alfonso was injured during rehearsal.  He is currently under medical evaluation. It has not been determined whether or not he will be able to perform on Monday." This was confirmed by Ribeiro's representative to TVGuide during interview. Such statement provided rooms for speculations about Ribeiro's current condition.

According to the DWTS reliable source, Ribeiro injured his back during his rehearsals that night when he was performing his signature dance move. Because of this, Ribeiro is now in critical condition in next 48 hours. He was also told by doctors that he can't anymore dance and that he needs to back out from the competition. Obviously, this dismayed Ribeiro as well as his fans that are waiting for his performance.

The day after that said incident, he can't anymore walk, and that he needs to get an MRI. The Carlton Dance, his signature dance, caused Ribeiro's injury. Based on the report of TMZ which reported the news first, they confirmed that it was indeed the Carlton dance that injured him.

Currently, Ribeiro just watch his dance partner Whitney Carson rehearsing their dance routines. During the interview with TVGuide he said that he was not really expecting that his body would break down. And he is still persistent that he can still join the competition. He said he still have more than two weeks of enduring the pain, then he will completely have too much time to rest as well as recover. He further said that it will be nice if he can finish the competition and he can make it to the finals, performing amazingly in the finale.
