The Food Jeweler That's Made Fans Out Of Beyoncé and Drake

Since 2016, Nadine Ghosn has been creating unique, custom jewelry pieces that have adorned the bodies of Beyoncé, Pharrell, and Drake - who wore a custom leash from Ghosn crafted from two kilos of white gold and 50 carats of diamonds for his "First Person Shooter" video. And while she's got quite the celebrity following, she's made even bigger fans out of companies like McDonald's - for which she created a ring to mark the 50th anniversary of the Big Mac in 2018.

McDonald's awarded the ring to the fan who posted the funniest tweet declaring their love for the brand's signature sandwich. That ring was based on Ghosn's original "Hamburger Ring," which may be her most recognizable piece to this day. The ring is made of seven stackable rings that imitate all of the makings of a great burger and can be worn together or separately. According to Ghosn's website, it features a "top bun (with sesames) and ketchup detail, melted cheese, meat patty, lettuce, onion, tomato, and bottom bun with mustard detail." As you might imagine, the price tag on this burger will cost a little more than most burgers, though - it comes in at a cool $20,680.

French Pastry Chef Cédric Grolet Partners with Nadine Ghosn

Her most recent collaboration involves French pastry chef and social media phenomenon Cédric Grolet. Last year, the pair went viral with their Epiphany Cake (King Cake) collaboration, in which Grolet crafted the cake from his signature croissants. Only 50 of the cakes were made, but three special cakes contained a gorgeous 18k gold croissant charm crafted by Ghosn. Promoted on social media, the cakes sold out in just 10 minutes.

This year, Ghosn and Grolet teamed up yet again to create a second version of the cake, this time from Grolet's famous pain au chocolat (chocolate croissants). Just one lucky customer took home a cake that hid an 18k gold croissant charm adorned with brown diamonds and worth nearly $7,000. Ghosn called it the pain au chic.

Ghosn wants to do a collab with Grolet next year in Asia, as she now resides in Singapore. But I'm hoping they'll do something for the U.S. Diamonds, gold and chocolate croissants? Literally my idea of Heaven.
