3 Cocktails For A Perfect Easter Sunday Brunch!

We're a week away from Easter, and all we can think is after the kids exhaust us from their Peeps and chocolate-fueled Easter zoomies, where's the fun for us adults? Here are some delicious Easter-themed cocktails to help you relax after the kiddos' sugar crash.

Peter Rabbit Carrot Cooler

In a shaker with ice, combine 2 oz Tito's vodka, 4 oz of fresh-juiced carrots, 2 grates of jalapeno pepper zest, a shake of powdered ginger, a pinch of salt, and the juice of a half a lime. Shake vigorously. Strain into a Tajin-rimmed glass over rocks. Garnish with a long, curled carrot sliver, lime leaves, and a slice of fresh lime for a hopping good time!

The Hot Chocolate Bunny

Combine 2 oz. Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur, 1/2 oz. Kraken Black Spiced Rum, and a three-finger pinch of cayenne pepper (that's where the "hot" comes in) in a shaker with ice. Stir slowly but well (shaking will bruise the ice and make it watery) and strain into a chilled goblet. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and grated dark chocolate. If you're looking for a little extra zest, stir it with a cinnamon stick after serving, but don't leave it in there or it will overpower your drink.

Easter Egg Sour

Separate 1 egg white and set aside. Combine 2 oz. Maker's Mark bourbon, 1 oz. freshly squeezed OJ, 3/4 oz. simple syrup, a dash of Angostura Orange Bitters, and a squirt of Dekuyper Triple Sec in a shaker without ice. Introduce egg white last. Shake hard for about 15 seconds to fizz up the egg white and OJ. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel and a sour maraschino cherry. Enjoy!
