Red Robin's Ramen Burgers Now Available Natiowide

Red Robin is known for its gourmet burgers and now, it has made a surprising addition to its stacked menu: the hybrid ramen burger.

The dish, which was created by chef Keizo Shimamoto, was adopted by the burger joint, albeit with a few changes. It will be known commercially as the Red Ramen Burger, and will be served with a seasoned ramen bun with teriyaki and Chiu Chow aioli, carrots, onions, garnished basil and shredded red cabbage with chilis.

"We closely follow emerging trends, and when the ramen burger first debuted, our culinary team worked to develop Red Robin's take on the foodie favorite, enabling us to be the first to offer it nationally," said Jonathan Muhtar, Red Robin's senior vice president and chief marketing officer, in a press release. "At Red Robin, we strive to constantly provide our guests with unique experiences and menu items that they can't get anywhere else in the casual dining industry."

Starting April 4, 2016, hungry diners craving for the unlikely but delicious-looking hybrid can line up in Red Robin restaurants nationwide to get a bite out of it. The fast food restaurant also declared April 19 as the "Red Ramen Day". In this, the first 22 college students who walk through the door with an appetite for the dish and a student ID can get a Red Ramen Burger and the Bottomless Steak Fries for 22 cents. Why the number? Well, it is the price of a cup of ramen, a college dorm staple dish. Meanwhile, other customers will be able to get the dish that day for a discount price of $2.22.

However, the Red Ramen Burger is only available until June 5, making it a limited time offer.

If you can't find a Red Robin location near you, simply make use of its restaurant locator to help you find one. And yes, you would not need chopsticks to eat it.
