Wearing a red dress, pearls, and a pained expression, Portman stands in the White House, her hands awkwardly clasped as she mourns her husband and prepares to leave the storied home she shared with her husband and young children.
Kennedy wore a similar look in an iconic photo take at the White House in late 1961.
Jackie is being directed by Pablo Larrain, with the script being written by Noah Oppenheim - who also penned the script for The Maze Runner and The Divergent Series: Allegiant.
It's being produced by her Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky, Natalie's performance in the 2010 flick earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress.
The film - which was originally going to be a television mini-series - also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Greta Gerwig, Max Casella and Beth Grant.
