Fargo Season 3: Bad News, Series Premiere Set to 2017

This is unfortunate that bad news will be broken to Fargo fans today. You will have to wait for a year before the popular television series comes back for its much awaited third season.

On a Tuesday conference call, Noah Hawley, the series' showrunner revealed that season 3 will most likely makes its much awaited premiere in 2017.

You won't see it in 2016.

Hawley explained that the hit FX series is a winter show and they do not have the bandwidth to produce the film this winter. Their hands are full.

Here's the deal, Fargo team, season 3 is set to start production in November 2016.

That means a year of agonizing wait for fans and also theories to the storyline of the third season. Characters are set to return in season 3 linking possible connections between the first and second season. As Hawley explains it,

There are going to be connections, the way the first year was connected to the movie and the second year was connected to the first, but I think part of the fun is figuring that stuff out and I wouldn't want to take that away from anybody

What is this something that connects to everything? Lives of past characters may cross the lives of new characters. Fans will have a year to meld their minds and make up some theories but what's for sure is that season 3 will take place in a 2010 setting and will have a more contemporary feel since 2010 was a "selfie-oriented culture".

Hawley did share a tip though. He mentioned that season 1 cast members will less likely appear in season 3 or play a major role and it may not be believable to bring them to the current setting.

Twiddle your thumbs and think of the Fargo possibilities as season 3 moves closer to the future decade.

The season 3 of Fargo is set to debut in Spring of 2017 on FX, as revealed online.
