Called as hybrids, this 2-in-1 device is now the trend for most of the huge tech companies. Throughout the year, the emergence of the said device like the Apple's iPad Pro and Microsoft's Surface 3 made the customers assume that this will be the new shift for tablets. It can be remembered that before, tablets have only one main objective and that is productivity. The launching of the latest trend of 2-in-1 tablets today changed the aim of tablets as hybrids nowadays also focus on social interactions like watching videos, playing games, reading books and more.

In terms of performance, hybrids offer a much higher specifications than the ordinary tablets. The 2-in-1 device is powered with latest hardware and design which will help the user do their needed tasks. The trend for hybrids also shifts to bigger screen size making it more attractive to tech enthusiasts.

The main problem that can be observed with the new device is that it offers confusion to most of the customers. With bigger screen, higher specifications and 2-in-1 capabilities, most of the users were confused concerning the main category of the device. Some say that the launching of hybrids offer gradual death to the market of small-screen-display netbooks.

Nevertheless, it is clear that the said shift threatened the market of tablet, and also provided a new species of hybrid devices.
