Shia LaBeouf has a net worth of $25 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. He has long since departed from from the boy that we knew and loved from Even Stevens and Holes, which catapulted Shia LaBeouf net worth.
The 29-year-old actor just announced his latest project called #TOUCHMYSOUL, in which he and his collaborators basically operate a hotline.
His bizarre new art project which has him manning a hotline station where fans can call in and actually have a conversation with him.
Teaming up with artists Nastja Säde Ronkko and Luke Turner, LaBeouf has launched a project in the Fact Gallery in Liverpool, which allows people to reach the actor via a hotline from Thursday through Sunday.
From December 10 through December 13, between 11AM and 6PM, fans can call +44 (0)151-808-0771 to “connect” one-on-one with the eccentric actor, who you can also watch via a live stream on the gallery’s website.
“To use technology to connect with people is f-king magical,” Shia told The Guardian of his performance piece. “You know when you’re texting somebody and those three dots pop up? There’s so much magic happening in your anticipation, in your waiting for that response, and if the three dots go away you feel like, ‘Argh!’”
This isn’t LaBeouf’s first live-streamed performance piece. In November, he spent three consecutive days watching all of his movies, without any breaks, with fans at the Angelika Film Center in New York.
The 72-hour stunt started with his last film, Man Down, and then went in reverse chronological order of each of his film’s releases.
While the response to these pieces has been mixed, ranging from people calling him a “young god of self-awareness and maximum meta” to James Franco straight up saying “I don’t understand what Shia LaBeouf is doing,” people can’t deny that they are intrigued.
