'The League' Season Finale: Show Creators Tells Of Series Finale and Guest Stars

Disclaimer: This post may reveal the League's season finale super secret guest star.

If you're not apprised with The League yet, then you should know that this American semi-comedy sitcom revolves around the daily life of a fantasy football league and its members.

Creator Jeff Schaffer, tells us what to expect in the series finale. ".. Everyone has a chance of glory, everyone has a shot at absolute failure - to be the ultimate Sacco or the ultimate Shiva."

So the trophies up for grabs are the Shiva, the Sacco and the Snip - a new trophy, a fertility bowl between Kevin and Jenny. Picture the Snip as a mounted pair of golden sharp scissors. (Ouch!)

And what about the guest stars? Schaffer is bringing a few people back. "Meegan is returning from a few month's hiatus with a person in her belly", and this takes Andre by suprise. Wonder how he will react that he's going to be a father. Leslie Bibb (playing Meegan) isn't the only one coming back with a surprise, though.

Janina Gavankar, the woman behind Shiva, is set to return. "We could never end the show without a visit from Shiva herself", says Schaffer. While everybody tries to win Shiva, the actual Shiva shows up.

And who is the very special guest star coming on to the screen just for this one time? "We haven't told anybody about this! We haven't told a single human being!" Schaffer says excitedly. They're bringing in Larry David, a brilliant improviser and someone they've always wanted to cast but they could never find the right role for him to fill.

"Larry David will be playing Ruxin in the future", Schaffer reveals. Future Ruxin will visit current Ruxin on what his future will be if he's making the wrong decisions. This sounds like a Christmas Carol take, doesn't it?

The League airs at 10:00 PM  on December 9, as posted online.
