Simon Cowell allegedly terminated one of his security guards following his horrifying moment.
Simon Cowell was terrified after an intruder managed to break into his £10million mansion and stole some of his jewelries at dawn on Friday. The burglar got away with some of the family's gems and cash, that is believed to be worth hundreds of thousands of pounds. But although the culprit managed to escape, Simon was very thankful that his 21 month old son, Eric was not taken away.
Now, it appears that the music mogul wants to make sure that the alarming incident won't happen again to his family as he reportedly got rid of one of his guards after he found out that the particular person was using the toilet when the break in occurred.
According to Mirror, the X Factor judge removed the staff member as he believes that the said guard is not effective anymore in fulfilling his duties, including protecting Cowell's family from danger.
The guard is believed to be using the loo when the perpetrator entered Simon's multi- million mansion. Cowell hired the watchman from a private firm and the particular person will be reassigned to another family.
Simon Cowell hasn't commented on the matter yet.
Simon's decision came after a burglar broke into his property through the patio. It is believed that the culprit was in the mansion for half an hour, going around the house, undetected.
The burglar raised concern over effectiveness of the security system. When Simon was asked about the security and what he is planning to do, Cowell made it clear to The Sun, "heads would roll because of the blunder" and made a promised that "one person won't be here."
The scary incident actually gave Simon an idea. He revealed to the publication that he is thinking of getting "bigger guard dogs."
