Things are getting increasingly busy over at Netflix with their many Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, as less than two weeks after releasing "A.K.A. Jessica Jones," they're already planning how things will pan out in the next few shows - and that includes the "Daredevil" season 2, expected next spring!
Following the massive success of Charlie Cox's first outing as Matt Murdock, the "Daredevil" season 2 was pretty much a given, and comic book fans became increasingly interested in the show's second outing upon discovering that another street-level superhero (or rather, anti-hero) would be featured in the show, namely The Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal.
According to Cinema Blend, last week, Netflix had a big panel at the Brazil Comic Con Experience, and on it they aired a new teaser for the highly-awaited "Daredevil" season 2, after only small glimpses of what's coming have been aired, including what seems to be a Luke Cage cameo - and, thanks to the Internet, we have a description of the upcoming footage!
Comic Book Resources reports that Tumblr user cherryvane got a glimpse of the "Daredevil" season 2 at the South American event, which describes the first-ever proof that Punisher will be joining the MCU.
As Screen Rant reports, the "Daredevil" season 2 teaser is apparently a bloody thing to behold, as on it, Murdock, in full costume, walks into a room filled with "people being hanged like meat," which prompts the Hell's Kitchen superhero to try to look for any beating hearts in the scene, finally finding one "barely alive man" and literally taking him off the hook.
"After succeeding, he lays the guy (that I have no idea of how he could be alive considering how badly injured the dude was) on the ground and say something along the lines 'Why did they do this to you?' In which the guy mumbles 'They? It was just a guy,'" reads the chilling description.
We can't wait for the "Daredevil" season 2, as the first Hell's Kitchen superhero takes on The Punisher!
