[SEE] Tom Hiddleston Perform As Hank Williams In The Full Trailer For 'I Saw The Light' [VIDEO]

The first official trailer for 'I Saw The Light' is here, and Tom Hiddleston is truly getting ready to blow everybody's minds!

There has been a lot of uncertainty over Tom Hiddleston being cast as country superstar Hank Williams, mostly from people who were not sure whether the British actor will be able to pull off the music icon's twangy voice, or even be able to play the guitar. However, the 'Crimson Peak' star proved he could perform as well as Hank Williams during the Wheatland Music Festival.

The new trailer also shows how Tom Hiddleston embraced his role as Hank Williams not just as a performer but also as a man, a husband and an alcoholic.

The 'I Saw The Light' trailer opens with a Hank Williams quote: "People don't write music. It's given to them." The video offers a quick look at the best points of the musician's career, from being signed to a record label to falling in love with his first wife Audrey (Elizabeth Olsen) to becoming a proud father. It's not always good, as Hank ends up drinking too much and flirting with other women and eventually his career causes his marriage to suffer. "Boy, I'm a professional at making a mess of things," a drunk Hank says about himself, although there is a tender moment of the singer crooning to his newborn child.

The trailer concludes with yet another Hank Williams quote. "Country music, it's sincere," he says. "A man sings a sad song, you know it's sad."

'I Saw the Light' also stars David Krumholtz, Bradley Whitford, Maddie Hasson and Cherry Jones. The movie was screened in September during the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and was originally scheduled for release on November 27. However, the premiere date has been moved to March 25, 2016.
