Hidden Map in iPhone Tracks Every Place You've Been To - Here's How To Disable It! [VIDEO]

A lot of rumors and hidden features on its products has got Apple consumers worried about the stored information on the devices.

It wasn't until recent that users discovered a feature - it wasn't hidden but it wasn't readily visible either - on the iPhone: there's a hidden map that keeps track of every place you've ever been to.

According to the people from Wonderful Engineering, this spy-like feature tracks the locations you frequent within a map. To top it all off, it even takes note of the time you arrived and left the place.

As it turns out, the feature has already been in iOS devices for a couple of years now. Unilad reports that the Frequent Locations feature is automatically enabled since the release of iOS 7 - in June 2013.

Of course, Apple will always defend themselves and claim that the data is stored on iPhones and iPads to make your traffic routing apps (like Waze, Google Maps, and the built-in Apple Maps) and other data services more efficient.

Although that may be true, some people believe that it is an invasion of privacy, in addition to Apple's way of taking a look at how you use your data.

Thankfully, a YouTube video helps teach users how to actually disable the Apple feature. It's fairly easy too - to see the map, users can go to the Settings menu, and go to Privacy.

Once there, users can find Location Services, and find System Services. Scroll down to the lowest portion on to Frequent Locations and voila: you can find the amount of data that's been stored on your iPhone or iPad regarding your whereabouts.
