Adele has shared her secret key to success.
It is without a doubt that Adele is one of most the influential music artists in this generation. In fact, her latest album release 25 astonishingly sold more than 3 million copies in the U.S in less than a week, as per Nielsen Music via Billboard. The amazing fact is the first tracking week isn't even over yet.
With her new winning album and not to mention the numerous Grammys and Golden Globe Awards under her belt, Adele is definitely reigning in the music industry. But although she is currently standing at the top of the industry, the Hello hit maker said she remains humble throughout her journey.
The 27 year old music artist said that the key to her success is modesty. She said remaining humble led her to where she is now. "I don't think stage fright is important, but I think it's really important that you don't think you're great. Because once you get to that point, you just fucked everything up," Adele explained to NPR.
For her it's "rubbish" living in the realm of fantasy where many people "think you're great all the time." Further adding, "Artists and bands that I've grown up loving, they get a certain amount of success and they're like, 'Oh, this is easy.' And I'm like, 'I don't like you anymore. I like your music, but I don't like you."
The Skyfall songstress believes that being a good artist means bringing the whole package in and that includes being a good person.
Despite the fact that she's been hitting the stage countless times, Adele admitted that she still suffers "stage fright" but with her desire not to let her fans down, she still somehow manages to perform.
Adele also revealed that her favorite part of performing is when the crowd goes along and sings with her.
