'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3' will not be coming to the West as announced by the video game's publisher Koei Tecmo. The fighting game will only be coming to Asia in two different versions namely the 'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus' for PlayStation Vista and the 'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune' for PlayStation 4.
Gaming enthusiasts from Western countries were disappointed to know that the developer of the highly anticipated spinoff of the Dead or Alive game series has decided not to release it in the United States unless a significant number of gamers show interest for the new game.
When asked by a fan if 'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3' will be experienced by Western gamers, the company has confirmed that the video game will not leave Asia. On the official Facebook community channel of DOAX3, the company has revealed that they are avoiding potential criticisms.
"We do not bring DOAX3 to the west and won't have any plan change in the future. Thank you for asking," the company stated on the community channel.
The upcoming video game features sexy female characters. Players can dress their chosen female characters with any costume they like. Considering the vulgar sceneries in the game, the company might receive complaints from critics.
In the video game, the breasts of the female characters who are fighting are very exposed. Bikini malfunctions are also present every time the character falls on the water or fails to complete a task.
"Do you know many issues happening in video game industry with regard to how to treat female in video game industry? We do not want to talk those things here. But certainly we have gone through in last year or two to come to our decision. Thank you," the company explained.
The 'Dead or Alive Xtreme 3' video game is also facing a sexism issue which is probably why the publisher does not want it to be distributed all over the planet.
