As Vogue reports, ahead of appearing in the AMAs' red carpet, the beautiful blonde took to Snapchat to reveal there was a big change coming up in her appearance, and by the time Gigi Hadid's hair made it to the awards show, many were shocked - but she told Giuliana Rancic that there were some "tricks of the trade" out there.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kendall Jenner's best friend looked downright ravishing in the red carpet with the new bob, which saw her usually long and luscious blonde locks almost reaching the end of her neck, shocking and delighting people as she walked around, but it's still unclear whether Gigi Hadid's hair last Sunday night was all it was cracked up to be.
"The hair, you can check back tomorrow to see if I still have short hair," said the star of the daring Gigi Hadid hair look for the big night, after revealing her stylist had been Bryce Scarlett. "You'll have to see I guess. There's tricks of the trade."
Cosmopolitan posted a theory as to what happened with the star's hair, saying that in fact, what can be see from the cut are actually the bob-length front layers of the Hadid's locks, then tucked in the back of her real hair under a wig - essentially, the illusion is because most of her real hair is what you get.
Still, even if she continues to have long Gigi Hadid hair, it's clear she totally rocks the bob look!
