Amber Heard is the face for the December issue of Marie Claire magazine. While posing for the mag the 29 year old actress, who wed Johnny Depp in February admitted that her marriage with the actor was hounded by negative rumors. But though they were surrounded by the gossips she said she doesn't let it haze her and she is just thankful of being a stepmom to the actor's two children- Lily Rose, 16 year old and 13 year old Jack.
"[It's] an honor and the greatest, most surprising gift I have ever received in my life," Amber said to the mag, which will hit news stands on Nov 17. "New colors that I didn't know existed have been added to my life," she continued. "I'm so happy."
Heard, who was previously reported to be receiving $25,000 every month from Depp for her monthly allowance insisted that she refused to give up working, despite the fact the her husband is earning a lot of money and capable of giving her everything she wants as she wants to dispel any "false notion." Further adding, "I'm so independent. I never expect anyone to give me anything - the notion of someone supporting me would be absurd to me."
In her new cover shoot, Heard posed for the mag in a high- waist underwear and just covered her upper body with a suit jacket. She looked so stunning as she flashed her long legs and let her hair loose in a sultry photo shot. Amber completed her look with a pair of black shoes and minimal accessories.
"I wish I didn't have to pick between being seen as sexually viable and something more substantial," she said.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp started dating since 2012, shortly after he broke up with long- time partner, singer/ actress Vanessa Paradis, who is the mother of his two kids.
