Reporters from Daily Mail attempted to track down Mindy Mann‘s family, but they faced a roadblock when the nanny’s parents stayed mum on the subject of her alleged affair with Gavin Rossdale.
Lucky for them, a close family friend and neighbor of the folks dished some dirt about Gwen Stefani‘s nanny.
Mindy Mann, the 27-year-old Aussie nanny embroiled in a cheating scandal that allegedly broke up Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, was apparently a "wild child" while growing up in the Queensland town of Tallebudgera Valley.
According to a neighbor, who "always thought she was a lesbian the way she walked around the street with her shaved head and her girlfriends," Mindy was known for her wild partying ways.
"I know she has been back [home] a few times – they did have parties when the oldest daughter has had her children," the neighbor added. "When the recycle bin collection comes to their place it sounds like it's a club."
Mindy came into the national spotlight when it was revealed that Gwen found evidence of her having an affair with husband Gavin. Her illicit texts with the rocker — and some nude photos — showed up on the family iPad.
She was embroiled in an international scandal after the airing of allegations she had a three-year affair with the No Doubt singer’s husband, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.
Some strange behavior from Mindy since she was first hired by the family in 2008 spelled out her shady moves, but it wasn’t until the texts that they were caught.
Affair rumors between Gavin and Mindy first began in 2012 after photos showed Gavin putting his hand on his nanny's butt during a hike with his sons Zuma and Kingston. The Bush frontman denied the rumors, saying he was trying to help Mindy from falling in the photos.
One divorce later, and Mindy’s the most famous nanny in the world.
