Azealia Banks is not having a good moment. After canceling her U.S. tour for the second time, the rapper is now under investigation for allegedly assaulting a club security guard.
The 24-year-old was not very happy after being asked to leave Break Room 86 in Los Angeles, California in late October 2015. In a wild new video, the rapper allegedly gets involved in a brawl with a security guard who claims Azealia was messing with a fire alarm.
"A security guard grabbed Banks as she was messing with the fire control valves, and that's when Banks and her crew jumped the guy," TMZ reports.
Obviously Azealia wasn’t very happy about getting the boot, so she allegedly planned to retaliate by kicking off the fire alarm.
In the video below you can see a woman who looks like Azealia walk up to exposed pipes, then turn the corner and fiddle with what appears to be a fire alarm on the wall.
When a large male bouncer approaches to stop the woman, she completely loses it and starts wailing at him with her fists. A moment later it can be seen that the bouncer has more or less been jumped by the group that was with the woman who is allegedly Azealia.
A video released by TMZ captured the incident, and can be viewed here.
When Azealia Banks arrived in 2011, the now-24-year-old Harlem rapper was wearing a Mickey Mouse sweater and braided pigtails in the video for her debut viral hit “212." Many fell instantly in love.
Now, just five years into her career, Banks became the fearless rebel with a mischievous grin and razor-sharp tongue ,her verbal ability are being deployed to self-destructive ends. The rebel is rebelling too hard.
Banks began initiating feuds and stirring controversy. The latest meltdown happened on a late-September flight from New York to Los Angeles. According to reports, Banks spat in a passenger’s face after claiming he had tried to hit her; when a co-pilot appeared to help deescalate the situation, Banks was caught on camera calling him a “fucking faggot.”
The rapper may be trolling her way out of a career, but now she might be trolling her way straight to court.
