‘John Wick’ Cast: Ruby Rose From ‘Orange Is The New Black’ Joins Sequel, Who Else Is Keanu Reeves Bringing Along?

One year after the original film starring Keanu Reeves first arrived in movie theaters all over the world, the sequel is finally in the works, and now the "John Wick" cast is preparing for a comeback - along with an "Orange is the New Black" inmate!

Only a few weeks after the sequel to the 2014 was first announced, there's already movement towards selecting the "John Wick" cast for the sequel, which will not only see Reeves reprising his role but will also welcome Australian rising star Ruby Rose, fresh off her Netflix appearance as well as co-hosting the 2015 MTV Music Awards with Ed Sheeran.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rose is the latest to join the "John Wick" cast for the highly awaited sequel, which is already in production, with directing team David Leitch and Chad Stahelski coming back working with a screenplay written by Derek Kolstad.

Deadline reports that the Aussie star isn't the only new member of the "John Wick" cast, as "Burnt" actor Riccardo Scamarcio is also coming in for the sequel as well as "Fargo" star Peter Stormare and "Game of Thrones" season 6 cast member Ian McShane, all of whom will be joining a returning cast that includes Tom Sadowski, Bridget Moynaham, Lance Reddick and John Leguizamo.

According to The Daily Mail, while it's unclear which roles will the new "John Wick" cast members be playing, the film's already shooting on location in New York, with the schedule also including shooting scenes in Italy's capital, Rome, ahead of its 2016 release, although the specific date for the premiere is unknown as of yet.

The original 2014 film was a sleeper's hit, having used a fairly low budget and gained momentum at the box office to end up becoming a cult favorite - and no doubt the great "John Wick" cast for the sequel will help cement it!
