Blake Shelton Talks About Divorce and Weight Loss

On Monday, country crooner Blake Shelton was in an interview with the American television news anchor - Hoda Kotb and the American television host, singer and songwriter - Kathie Lee Gifford on the Today show.

The interview was actually done before news broke out about him and Gwen Stefani going public with their relationship.

Glifford, wanting to know his thoughts on women playing hard to get, asked him, "Is it true that though women who play hard to get become much more interesting like immediately?"

Blake Shelton's straight forward answer was, "No, I don't have time for that crap.I want it now."

Apparently, the American singer, songwriter, actress who is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the rock band No Doubt - Gwen Stefani, was just the no-game-type woman Blake Shelton wanted.

When the host of the Today show touched on Shelton's weight loss, which Blake Shelton "chalks up" to the "divorce diet."

Shelton's explanation was "The first half of the year, the divorce [from Miranda Lambert] happened and, I don't know, I just stopped eating. I really just stopped eating a little bit. I didn't really think about it, and so now I feel like that happened so long ago, I lost some weight and now I'm like, 'How did I do that? I need to do that again!'"

Other than making headlines in the news around Blake Shelton's divorce and Shelton's new romance with the No Doubt singer, on November 9, 2015, the American basic cable and satellite television network - Nickelodeon, made a formal declaration that Blake Shelton will host the upcoming 2016 Kids' Choice Awards, which is slated to fire up in March.

Kathie Lee Gifford talked humorously, "The worst role model for kids in the world is hosting the show!" And Shelton slyly answered, "No, I'm like the reality."
