Evan Peters Talks About Quicksilver's Role In 'X-Men: Apocalypse!' Will He know The Truth About Magneto?

When it was announced that Evan Peters will be returning as Quicksilver in the upcoming superhero flick 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' fans immediately rejoiced. Although the speedy mutant was only briefly featured in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' he also happened to be responsible for one of the most memorable scenes in the film.

But it looks like Quicksilver will have a bigger role in the sequel, as Evan Peters recently told Details.

"The story is that my character is searching for his father and wants to find him," Peters said. "It starts there and then he jumps on the 'X-Men' train and gets sucked up in this whole Apocalypse madness: He tries to stop him from destroying the world."

Comic book fans already know that Quicksilver's real father is Erik Lensherr aka Magneto, who is played by Michael Fassbender in the 'X-Men' film series. Although it is unclear whether 'Apocalypse' will follow the comic book storyline, Evan Peters says that the movie will be massive.

"It's the biggest 'X-Men' film," he said. "It's about the apocalypse, so the scope of the film is huge."

Hopefully, there will be more sequences that show off Quicksilver's talents, like the prison break scene in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.'

In addition to speaking about 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' Evan Peters also shared some details about 'American Horror Story: Hotel.' The young actor admitted that, like his costar Nathan Peterson, he has fallen in love with new AHS alum Matt Bomer.

"It was unavoidable to develop a crush on Matt Bomer," Peters said. "You can't even look him in the eye when you are talking to him. He is too good-looking. It's kind of crazy. And the guy can form a sentence that perfectly articulates his thoughts."

'American Horror Story: Hotel' is currently airing on FX every Wednesday nights while 'X-Men: Apocalypse' will premiere on May 27, 2016.
