It may be difficult to pack so much exciting sequences in a teaser that is only ten-seconds long, but the highly anticipated 'Warcraft' movie has managed to do just that.
The synopsis for the film reads as follows:
"The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.
"So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something."
The 'Warcraft' trailer teaser offers a glimpse at the Human city of Stormwind as well as the several creatures that dwell in Azeroth. And of course, the teaser wouldn't be complete without a closing shot of an Orc.
Although there is a lot of excitement over the 'Warcraft' movie, there have been a few voices that have questioned the film adaptation of yet another video game. Some fans also wondered whether the movie will be able to represent the game that has endured for more than two decades.
Director Duncan James has been quick to defend the film, stating that Blizzard has helped him find a storyline that would honor the game.
"Working with the guys at Blizzard, using their creativity and our own, I think we were able to refine and pair down what it is that would make a good core story for a film because a film is always going to be different from a game," Jones said. "And you always have to have a narrative. The audience isn't going to be there to choose the story for you."
The first full-length 'Warcraft' trailer will be released on November 6 while the film is scheduled to premiere on June 10, 2016.
