'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' Release Date Delayed! Find Out The Reactions Of the Gamers

EA DICE has announced that the release date of the most awaited video game 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' will be delayed. The action-adventure game, which was originally supposed to be issued on the 23rd of February next year, will be moved to the 24th of March.

"So we've made the decision to bring Mirror's Edge to the world starting May 24, 2016," the company announced.

In a blog post, the producer of the video game which is a reboot of the Mirror's Edge released in 2008 explained the reason behind their decision to delay it which of course disappointed many fans.

As written by Sara Jansson, the senior producer of the game, creating a quality video game takes time.

"Years ago, we set out an ambitious vision for Mirror's EdgeTM Catalyst. Achieving that vision and delivering the best possible experience is equally inspiring and challenging. And it takes time," Jansson stated.

DICE explained that they will make use of the extra months to improve and polish the game. the game developer talked about making 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' more impressive, entertaining and memorable to the gamers.

"We're building the most immersive action-adventure game with fluid movement and combat in first person. Mirror's Edge Catalyst will be an all-new playground with a deeper and more engaging story - and we want to accomplish all these goals to the highest quality possible," the senior producer of the game added.

On Twitter, many expressed their disappoints for the delay of 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst'. Though DICE already explained their part, many gamers are still dissatisfied.

"Nice, First build up the hype by delaying games, then bite us in the ass by delivering shit.....Real professional!!" one agree user posted.

"True, but they need to announce release dates when they know their game can make it...," another user wrote.

"well now I'm depressed :(," wrote one user.

The upcoming platform video game will center on the origin of the protagonist Faith.
