WE TV has rolled out a new binge series titled "South of Hell." Mena Suvari, known for her roles in American Pie and American Beauty and cameo appearance in the "Teenage Dirtbag" music video, will star in the new supernatural thriller as Maria Abascal a demon huntress for hire. With her brother, David, played by Zachary Booth, both pursue demons that live inside the bodies of humans.
The story won't be juicy unless our heroine has her own demons to battle. Abigal, the evil brewing inside her feeds on the demons Maria exorcises. Viewers will witness the battle Maria will undertake to regain herself and the length Abigail will take to stay inside her. Get ready to park for seven hours on your paranormal couch and witness the 30 year old demon huntress slay evil and meet characters that will test her spirit in Charleston, South Carolina.
Lydia Hearst who starred in Cabin Fever as "Patient Zero" will also be in the thriller as a Southern Belle named Charlotte Roberts. Bill Irwin from CSI will also be in the series and will play Enos Ascabal - father to both Maria and David.
To make your binge fest more paranormal, the show enlisted the thrilling prowess of Jason Blum. Jason Blum is known for producing Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious. Eli Roth will be behind the cameras filming each episode critically. Roth is known for his filmmaking magic in Hostel, Cabin Fever and the cannibalistic Green Inferno. Each episode will be uniquely directed by The Sacrament's Ti West, Doctor Who's Rachel Talalay, and The Walking Dead's Jennifer Lynch.
