Prince Harry Meets with President Barack Obama in the White House on One-Day US Visit

The younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana(deceased), Princess of Wales - Prince Henry of Wales KCVO, better known as Prince Harry, visits President Barack Obama in the White House as part of the 31-year-old's trip to the United States.

Prince Harry, who is only in America for a day for the sole purpose of promoting the 2016 Invictus Games, started his action-packed day by meeting wounded military officers in Virginia alongside the first African-American First Lady of the United States - Michelle Obama and the wife of US Vice-President Joe Biden - Dr Jill Biden.

Prince Harry, who is third in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II (Prince Harry's grandmother), looked smart for the visit as he donned a dark blue suit and white shirt, and took the time to talk and reach out to the wounded servicemen and women, who are in a recuperation and rehabilitation programs at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Prince Harry also spent time in an art therapy class built to serve veterans with mental defects at the USO (United Service Organizations) Warrior and Family Centre, which gives assistance to troops, their families and carers.

After Prince Harry met with the troops, they watched a Paralympic sporting event before giving speeches, during which Michelle Obama informed the group that she would do whatever she can to "shine a light" on the 2016 Invictus Games.

Michelle Obama stated, "We're going to do whatever we can to shine a light on this event." "We need to commemorate all of you our wounded warriors."

Following Prince Harry's tour of the base, he then meets up with U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday afternoon for an informal conversation. The Prince is also scheduled to pay a visit to the British ambassador's place of residence, where Prince Harry will be given the latest information on the progress of the 2016 Invictus Games and come face to face with the event organizers.
