The upcoming British-American fantasy drama film - arising from some external creative impulse from the book of the same name by J. K. Rowling - 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' - will have the English actor, singer and model Eddie Redmayne in the lead role.
The film 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is a spin-off of the Harry Potter film series, which is helmed by David Yates. The film will mark the return of the director to the cinemas. Since August, the forthcoming 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' movie has been in the production phase.
The movie is set to send Eddie Redmayne out on an all-new wizarding adventure on November 18, 2016.
Reportedly, Eddie Redmayne, who began his professional career as an actor in both theatre and television roles in the early 2000s, talked about meeting the author J. K. Rowling, and said, "When I was gearing up, I met author J.K. Rowling and what's so amazing is that the imagination of J.K. Rowling is so full and thorough-it's so encyclopedic of her world-we had an hour together and I sort of asked J. K. Rowling about 800 questions so that was a lot of my wonderful research."
Eddie Redmayne, who made his film debut in 2006's Like Minds - also praised director David Yates by saying, "David Yates is wonderful. Even though there's a scale of these movies that could be terrifying, Yates has such a kindness, but an absolutely brilliant that it feels very closely acquainted, and he's got such a wonderful and wide-ranging cast. Hopefully, the film will be good."
Eddie Redmayne is famous for his character in 2014's British biographical romantic drama film - 'The Theory of Everything,' where Redmayne portrayed the theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking.
He will soon be seen in the big screen as he plays Lili Elbe in 2015's British-American biographical drama movie - 'The Danish Girl' - as the film is slated to hit the theaters on November 27 in the U.S.
