Blizzard To Launch 'Overwatch' On October 27, Gaming Company Talks About Closed Beta Group For the Videogame

Good news to all gaming enthusiasts!

Blizzard has just announced that they will be launching their videogame Overwatch this coming October 27. The videogame which is an online competitive first-person shooter, will be unveiled in a form of a closed beta compatible for Windows PC.

For the first time, the video game will be finally available to the public after it was initially introduced at BlizzCon last 2014. The beta will also provide the gamers the opportunity to try and experience the videogame itself.

In a statement, Blizzard Entertainment explained their objectives concerning the release of the beta.

"We're aiming to accomplish two primary goals with our public beta test. First, get tons of top-notch feedback on the gameplay - including balance, feel, and fun - to help us make Overwatch the best team-based shooter on the planet," stated by the game developer.

"Second, we want to hammer the heck out of our tech, including stress-testing our server infrastructure and making sure the game runs great on the widest variety of systems possible," the developer added.

Blizzard also added that they will be dividing the beta participants into two groups in order to test the videogame as well as the players. Each group will have different mission objectives and deployment schedules. As what the game publisher mentioned, the Closed Beta group is said to be the core of their testing crew.

The videogame 'Overwatch' is considered as a First Person Shooter game which is composed of a team of six players. The different teams will battle with each other in a series of competitive arena matches.

The videogame will provide 18 different characters of playable heroes, each having its own skills and attributes. The heroes are defined base on their distinctive abilities such as tanks, supports, damage dealers, reconnaissance specialists, and many others. Each of the character also boasts unique and powerful weapons that can help their teammates during battle.

In order for the gamers to participate in the Closed Beta, they must first sign up at the Blizzard's website.
