Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release date of its newest StarCraft for PC and Mac called 'StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void' which will be coming this November 10.
The new game will be the third sequel of the StarCraft series produced by the American company. The first chapter which was released 5 years earlier was the StarCraft: Wings of Liberty. Two and a half years after the first edition, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm followed.
Now, the third installation of the popular videogame will finally be arriving soon making the gaming enthusiasts excited.
According to Digital Trends, gamers can have pre-order the game, which will give them the opportunity to have instant access to the Whispers of Oblivion, a special three-mission prologue. This prologue is considered as the link between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.
Mike Morhaime, Blizzard CEO stated some facts about the new video game.
"Legacy of the Void provides an epic conclusion to a story more than 17 years in the making," said Morhaime.
"It also brings tremendous enhancements to StarCraft II's definitive real-time strategy gameplay, with new units, automated tournaments, collaborative game modes, and more. We can't wait for players to experience it all this November," added by the CEO.
The new StarCraft videogame will be available in several editions packed with some bonus items. The Standard Edition for example will cost a gamer $40.
For those who want to have additional features, there is a Digital Deluxe Edition worth $60. The said version includes some extra in-game content for the other games of Blizzard. These include an Archon pet in World of Warcraft, a Void Speeder mount in Heroes of the Storm and a protoss-themed card back in Hearthstone which will be all available in the latest videogame launch.
There will also be a $80 Collector's Edition which contain the abovementioned bonuses plus a StarCraft Field Manual, a special feature DVD and a CD with the game's soundtrack.
Blizzard Entertainment unveiled the release date during the StarCraft World Championship Series.
