Selena Gomez Slams Tabloids For Reporting False Information About Her

Selena Gomez is now standing up to defend herself from the circulating rumors about her attitude. The 23-year-old Hollywood star has decided to stop staying quiet and slammed tabloids that keep on reporting false information about her.

Like many Hollywood stars, the 'Good For You' singer has always been a hot topic in webloids. Gomez's past relationship with singer Justin Bieber gave the press a bunch of opportunities to earn by creating exaggerated reports about her personal life.

"HollywoodLife is the worst," Gomez addresses the entertainment news website.

"And Gossip Cop couldn't agree more. We've regularly documented how the fabrication factory makes up stories, twists the truth, and sensationalizes the most benign things," the actress added.

Selena Gomez is sick of news websites that are ruining her image to the public. The 'Come and Get It' singer expressed her disappointments on the latest issue of the American magazine Billboard.

"It's so disappointing that I've become a tabloid story. It took away everything I loved about this business. There's not an ounce of me that doesn't think that whatever they're doing is right," the singer exclaimed.

Recently, Selena Gomez has been in the headlines of tabloids for her suspected bad behavior. But 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' singer slammed the aforementioned websites by making known to the public the truth which she kept hidden for a long time.

"I've never had a problem with drinking," she singer said defiantly clarifying the rumors.

"I felt like I'd lost everything. Just because it's not plastered everywhere doesn't mean I didn't have my rock bottom. I've had my moments, and it's almost unsafe for me to even talk about them, because I'll be taken advantage of," Gomez added.

Contrary to what the tabloids reported about why she cancelled her tour back in 2013, the 'Tell Me Something I Don't Know' singer revealed the real reason.

"I was diagnosed with lupus, and I've been through chemotherapy. That's what my break was really about. I could've had a stroke," the singer confessed.

Selena Gomez is very disappointed that people are mean to her despite her good works like being a UNICEF ambassador.

This is not the first that Gomez slammed the said tabloids. Last year, the singer and fashion designer called HollywoodLife as a liar.
