Charlize Theron's Stalker Arrested

Charlize Theron's obsessed fan was arrested on Sunday afternoon for allegedly stalking the actress, according to reports.

According to TMZ, an unnamed man showed up at the gate of Theron's Hollywood Hills home to bring her a bouquet of flowers. However, his intention was not just to drop them off. He wanted to see the actress face-to-face.

When the actress reportedly requested the man to leave the flowers at the gate, he allegedly insisted to deliver them to her personally. After his alleged refusal to leave, the actress reportedly got scared and called the police.

The unidentified man was reportedly arrested by the cops for stalking.

The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' actress is yet to comment about the stalking incident.

This is not the first time celebrities asked help from the police to deal with unwanted guests recently. 'EastEnders' actress Samantha Womack also called the police last month after a fixated fan sent her a "weird love letter" and camped outside her house. Another obsessed fan was also taken into custody after taking a selfie outside Rihanna's house and threatening to kill her through Twitter.

In June, a fan was also arrested for allegedly stalking the catwalker Gigi Hadid. The obsessed fan, who was identified as Marcell Porter reportedly past the building's 24 hour security.

Just days after the incident, Hadid reportedly put her Soho apartment up for sale. "She was scared,'' a law-enforcement said, according to Page Six. "He's very delusional. He was muttering to himself in the precinct. He was saying stuff like, 'She needs me.' He'd wait for her outside her building for long stretches of time.''

However, according to Gigi's representative selling her property has nothing to do with the stalking incident. "Gigi has never had a physical encounter with a stalker and the selling of her current apartment and the stalker incident are completely unrelated," Gigi Hadid's representative told Vogue News.
