Bill Cosby Sexual Assault: LAPD Turns Case Over to District Attorney [PHOTOS]

The sexual assault cases against Bill Cosby are still not over.

According to Entertainment Tonight, police detectives have brought forward evidence to Los Angeles prosecutors for a possible criminal case against the "The Cosby Show" star.

The evidence is with regard to accusations from Las Vegas dancer Chloe Goins claiming that Bill Cosby drugged and had done something sexual to her while at the Playboy Mansion back in 2008.

"[The case] is now under review," a District Attorney spokesperson said on Thursday. It is still unknown what charges could be filed against the comedian.

In spite of several allegations, Bill Cosby has never been charged criminally for any of the claims presented against him. In addition, the "Cosby" actor has continued to deny any and all claims of sexual assault.

Chole Goins initially met investigating officers back in January to talk about the reported encounter she had with the 78-year-old actor.

Goins' attorney, Spencer Kuvin told reporters at the time:

"Ms. Goins is potentially the first victim of Mr. Cosby who is within California's legal statute of limitations to bring forward criminal charges. [...] She fully understands and accepts the immense responsibility that her decision to be here today carries. Ms. Goins and I are here for two reasons: justice and accountability."

The district attorney's recent effort comes after new accusations on Wednesday from three more women who came forward.

These women are former Mrs. America Lisa Christie, Sharon Van Ert -- a former cocktail server at a jazz club that Bill Cosby reportedly visited frequently, and Pamela Abeyta - a woman claiming that she was introduce to the actor to seek help in appearing in Playboy magazine.

"Although it is too late for these three new accusers to take any legal action against Mr. Cosby because of the statute of limitations, these three courageous women want Mr. Cosby to be accountable for what they say was his misconduct towards them," said attorney Gloria Allread during a press conference in her Los Angeles office.
