ED Sheeran Reveals He Will Be Taking A Break From Releasing New Song

Ed Sheeran is definitely a hit maker. It is undeniable that he had impressive hits in recent years but it appears to be that he is about to take a break. Through social media he broke a lot of fan's hearts after he confirmed that he won't be releasing a new track for a while.

Ed Sheeran has debuted his latest collaboration 'Lay It All On Me' with UK electronic band Rudimental at BBC Radio 1 on Thursday. Apparently, he will be taking a long break before he releases his new album.

Sheeran announced the news to Twitter, saying that this is good and bad news for both his fans and haters, he wrote, "This is my final thing I'm releasing for a while. Bad news if you like me, great news if you don't. We cater for everyone at SheeranCorp"

This is not the first time the 'Don't' hit maker and the electronic band collaborated together as they previously teamed up for the hit song 'Bloodstream.'

'Lay It All on Me' and 'Bloodstream' will be featured on Rudimental's second record, 'We the Generation,' which is due to be out on Oct. 2.

Speaking about the album, the electronic band talked to BBC and shared how it all started. "It was an idea that we had a while before we toured with Ed. We played it for him on the tour bus and he loved it and we came back and finished it together in London," Rudimental told BBC Radio. "We've been through a lot of ups and downs the last few years of touring and saying goodbye to family and missing home, so it's a song about sticking together and brotherhood."

Sheeran is yet to comment about his recent tweet. Meanwhile, the music crooner is gearing up as he will be touring New Zealand later this year.
