Tracy Morgan is On Board for The New Comedy Fist Fight

Tracy Morgan, the American actor and comedian, who is famous for his eight seasons as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, will return to acting, 14 months after the tragic accident he had with his friend James McNair.

The American comedian and writer James McNair unfortunately did not survive the accident. Tracy Morgan on the other hand, got seriously injured when a limo he was in was hit by an 18-wheeler truck on a New Jersey highway on June 7, 2014.

For Tracy Morgan's comeback , he will be joining the rapper, actor, and filmmaker Ice Cube and the comedian and screenwriter - Charlie Day in the upcoming comedy "Fist Fight."

The Fist Fight film follows two teachers Ice Cube and Charlie Day, who worked in a broken-down school system and ended up in a fist fight with each other. Tracy Morgan will portray the role of a high school coach.

Fist Fight marks the third time Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan have collaborated after "First Sunday" and the 2005 comedy "Are We There Yet?"

The last appearance of Tracy Morgan - who is best known for his character on NBC's 30 Rock, was on screen opposite the Top Five of Chris Rock and the animated movie The Boxtrolls.

Tracy Morgan is repped by Creative Artists Agency Company (CAA).

Jillian Bell (famous for her recurring roles as Jillian Belk on Workaholics) and the DEA agent Hank Schrader on the AMC series Breaking Bad, together with Dean Norris round out the cast for the movie, which Richie Keen is directing.

The script of Fist Fight movie was written by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux.

Shawn Levy together with Max Greenfield and John Rickard will produce the flick. While Charlie Day is the executive producer along with Dan Cohen, Marty Ewing and Billy Rosenberg.

The production of the Fist Fight film will kick start this month in Atlanta.
