Emmys 2015: Did George R.R. Martin Tell Andy Samberg 'A Winds Of Winter' Spoiler? How Did David Benioff React? [VIDEO]

One of the biggest mysteries in TV today is the fate of Jon Snow in the series 'Game of Thrones,' where although the cast and crew of the show insist that the Night's Watch Lord Commander has been killed by his own brothers, fans still believe that he might have survived the attack.

Although there are several theories as to how Jon Snow would still continue to be in 'Game of Thrones,' there are only three people who know the truth about Jon Snow's fate: author George R.R. Martin, who wrote the book series 'A Song of Ice and Fire' on which the series is based, and the show's executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

But is there a fourth person who might be in on the secret?

Comedian Andy Samberg could be one of the lucky people who have been let in on the secret. At the 2015 Emmy Awards, Samberg greeted George R.R. Martin on his 67th birthday before announcing that he knows the truth.

"Happy birthday, George, and thanks for telling me during the commercial that Jon Snow is alive," the comedian said, making the author laugh. Behind Martin, 'Game of Thrones' executive producer David Benioff couldn't help but shake his head.

Did David Benioff shake his head because the truth is finally out, or is he trying to imply that Andy Samberg is wrong about Jon Snow?

The fate of Jon Snow was left ambiguous in the book 'A Dance with Dragons,' where he apparently blacks out after being stabbed, but not before he calls for his direwolf Ghost. There is a possibility that his fate will be explained in 'The Winds of Winter,' which is the sixth book in 'A Song of Ice and Fire.' Some fans believe that Jon Snow will be resurrected by Bran Stark, who finally realizes his importance in the future of Westeros.

Find out if Jon Snow lives when 'The Winds of Winter' is published next spring.
