Don't ever try to break the rules when you are on Patti LaBelle's stage or else, she will shut you down just like what she did to one of her fans during her concert held at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on Friday, September 18.
In the video posted by TMZ, the 71-year old soul singer was rocking her show on stage as she performed 'Lady Marmalade' and invited some fans to join her on dancing.
While she and her fans were all enjoying the dance, a young man got carried away and began opening his shirt. Unfortunately, LaBelle is not as wild as the other artists and the scenario didn't sit well with her, PEOPLE reported.
"Don't you dare, not on my stage!" the singer said. "No, baby! Let me say, I got this. I got this. Did I say I was 71 years young, right? I am not Nicki Minaj or that little, uh, Miley."
After LaBelle scolded the young man, he started to arch his back and his put his butt out, which made the singer more annoyed. "Oh no!" she said while pushing him.
She then yelled, "Get off my G-d-mn stage, b-tch!". As she asked for a security to escort the man away from the stage, she added "And stay off! Put him out of the building! Put him out! How dare you!"
Not too long after she dumped the man out of the concert venue, LaBelle shared her dismay to the audiences, saying "I'm sorry, I didn't let my security do what he felt he had to do earlier. I believe in giving second and third and fourth chances because I always say, sometimes we know what we do."
She went on saying, "Just so rude, a rude American or whoever he is, whatever he is, don't ever come in my face again! Next!"
While calming her temper, she turned to her invited audiences on stage apologized for uttering 'bad words'.
"You know the devil is busy. The devil was here about 20 minutes ago. I saw it. I tried to block it." she said. "I'm so sorry. I'm a Gemini and things come out of my mouth sometimes that I try to control."
This is not the first time that Patti LaBelle scolded a fan. During her concert in Kansas City back in 2007, she had also shouted at another fan who got too close while she was performing.
