It looks like Youtube's biggest star is coming to TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Felix Kjellberg who's known to his millions of subscribers as 'pewdiepie', is in Los Angeles working on a new TV venture.
Kjellberg already hinted at this last month when he released a video informing his fans that new uploads would be less frequent due to a project he was working on.
"I can't really say too much of what I'm doing here. People are worried it's gonna leak into the media too soon. This vlog might ruin it." Said Kjellberg back then.
He then proceeded to bring out his new gig, cheekily telling his fans: "Tomorrow, I'm going to go to a doctor because of the show - or whatever I'm doing, no one knows what I'm doing. It's not a show. Me doing a show? No!"
A follow up video featured the doctor's appointment in question. It also showcased Kjellberg visiting various Los Angeles landmarks with a camera crew in tow for what is presumably his show's intro sequence.
In addition to this, gossip website TMZ also posted pictures of the 25 year old Swede touching down at LAX for what he says will be a two month stint in the city.
Kjellberg made waves last week when his Youtube channel became the first to hit 10 billion views. He is also the most subscribed Youtuber around, with a staggering 40 million users signed up to his channel.
Kjellberg rose to fame through his candid gaming videos and 'let's plays'. They feature him playing through a video game (usually of the horror genre) and showcased his signature humor and sarcasm.
He reportedly pulls in as much as $4 million a year from his channel, which also makes him one of the highest earning Youtubers in business.
