CHERYL Fernandez-Versini has been receiving a lot of criticism for noticeably lossing a lot of weight. People think she has become too thin for them to appreciate her current figure.
Sources have disclosed that the drastic weight loss is caused by her constant travelling between her residence in London and her hometown Newcastle to attend to an ongoing 'family drama'.
X Factor has kept her really occupied but she has chosen to spend whatever free time she has to be with her family, who some sources have reported, is going through some kind of grieving.
A source told The Sun, "Cheryl's been going through a great deal of stress recently and has been left very upset over this matter." The source also added that it's stressing her out and it is "definitely a contributing factor to her weight loss," the source said.
Though the stressful matter is troubling her, Cheryl has chosen to be remain silent about it and just maintained a dignified silence to get on with things.
"She is putting on a brave face and trying to focus on work as much as she can to take her mind off things," the source said.
Earlier this year, Cheryl got tired of all the scrutiny and eventually spoke back on an Instagram commenter, who described her as a "bag of bones."
"I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake? What is the difference?" she wrote.
She continued, "You have no idea what I've been through. Just losing my father in law recently and everything that comes with that."
"Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone," she added.
"I'm so f sick of people thinking it's ok to be mean or body shame anyone. And it's woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please."
This was Sheryl's remark after all the nasty things she's been subjected to because of her weight loss. She believes that 'body shaming has to stop and her main concern over this, is the younger generation who are being bullied over this.
She stated that women should learn how to respect and support each other with regards to these matters.
