On Thursday, the 52-year-old Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp, was interviewed at the Jimmy Kimmel Live! chat show. It was the first time, The Pirates of the Caribbean star, spoke about the legal drama he and his wife got entangled in back in May.
Johnny Depp has so far laughed off the accusations that they have secretly smuggled their beloved Yorkshire terriers, Boo and Pistol into the Australian territory. Depp reasoned that how can they say that the dogs were smuggled when the dogs were there for everybody to see.
He also added that he and his wife Amber Heard were under the impression that they had all the paperwork done for their dogs.
The actor did not hide his distaste over the Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce, who threatened to euthanize the two terriers if Depp and his wife, 29 year-old Heard fail to remove the dogs from the territory within the 48 hrs period he gave them.
It stunned and angered him that the minister even held a press conference for it that sparked an international clatter, known as 'The War on Terriers'.
The movie star stated sarcastically that, "This sort of weird, sweaty-pated, gut-man who decided that two five (or) six-inch tea-cup Yorkshire terriers would harm the country in some way, he's got a point, especially when you consider that Australia has the most poisonous creatures on Earth... Everything will kill you within minutes."
Depp further remarked that if Joyce did send Amber to jail. He will definitely assault the man, so that he can join his wife in the Australian jail.
Jimmy Kimmel's comment on this was, 'Right. Jack Sparrow's not going to stand by and let this happen,' referring to Depp's most famous character.
Depp also commented that so far this is the most interesting legal drama he and his wife were caught up in and they were completely surprised.
