After almost two months since their confirmed divorce, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, seem to be dealing with their breakup really well. Blake Shelton is back to being a 'tease', joking with his fellow judges on the set of the The Voice, as they make preparations for the coming season.
Miranda Lambert on the other hand, has been keeping herself busy promoting her new song and hanging out with her friends. The 31 year old country singer recently did her latest track entitled "Rated X" which speaks of divorce and the freedom it brings to a woman. Quite on target with her present situation with estranged husband.
During an interview with Liz Hernandez of Access Hollywood, the "Austin" singer jokingly spoke about his thoughts on Rihanna, the former girlfriend of Chris Brown, who will be joining season 9 of The Voice .
Blake Shelton teasingly stated, "I was amazed by Rihanna. She is so funny... and she's crazy about me," "We'll probably end up hooking up at some point. I'm just saying." But, when Blake was asked if he'd like a collaboration with the hitmaker, Shelton gave a pretty flirtatious answer, "I see a collaboration - maybe not musically. You know what I'm saying?"
The new season of "The Voice" will premiere on September 21.
Blake also went on to say that his relationship with his fellow judges Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, and Adam Levine has really gotten to 'another level', as they have spent long hours together mentoring their artists. He feels like they are his family.
Shelton said, "I think the coaches spend more time with each other than we do our kids sometimes," Blake also added, "Because we do so much stuff like this. Everyday there's something. I mean, we've become family."
Even Pharrell chimed in and said that he treated Blake like a big brother, Shelton replied with "I love you too little bro - you're my boo."
