One of the exciting additions to the 'Star Wars: Rogue One' cast is 'Hannibal' actor Mads Mikkelsen. Although there were speculations that the Danish actor would play a villain, Mikkelsen has confirmed that he will play an important character who is "not a bad guy."

So who is Mads Mikkelsen playing in 'Star Wars: Rogue One?' The actor himself may have revealed his character's identity when he signed a poster with a familiar name.

'Star Wars' fans immediately recognized the name as that of Galen Marek, the young apprentice of Darth Vader who appeared in the video game 'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.' Galen, who is also known as Starkiller, is the son of two Jedi Knights who were killed by the Sith Lord. Darth Vader decided to take Galen Marek with him when he realized the child had a strong connection to the Force.

As exciting it is to finally have an idea of who could appear in 'Star Wars: Rogue One,' some fans are still skeptical of the news. In 'The Force Unleashed,' Galen Marek is portrayed as a young man who appears to be in his twenties or thirties. However, there are also speculations that Mads Mikkelsen will portray a different version of Galen Marek in the film.

Will Mads Mikkelsen appear as Galen Marek in 'Star Wars: Rogue One?' The truth shall be revealed when the film finally premieres on December 16, 2016.
