Taylor Swift has always shown a loving and supportive image for her friends in Hollywood. The famous country singer recently turned down a £2 million offer to sing three songs at a billionaire's wedding just to be present at the christening party of her godson to sing for free.
The 'Blank Space' singer did not hesitate to reject the large amount of money and preferred to attend the said party in the home of model and actress Jaime King, one of her closest friend in the industry in Los Angeles. The 25-year-old star serenaded the celebrant and the visitors with her hit songs like 'Red', 'Love Story' and 'I Know You Were Trouble'.
The unnamed billionaire who wanted Taylor in his wedding demanded only 30 minutes for the singer to entertain his bride and their visitors. But the award-winning star seem not attracted by the money offered because she already earned more than enough. Forbes magazine reported that the singer-songwriter collected £160 million this year.
In the christening party, the 'Bad Blood' singer ccarried her five-week-old godson Leo in her arms and hummed a lullaby for the little boy. But the baby boy started screaming which made her hand him back sheepishly to his mom Jaime.
Leo, who was born last month is the second son of Jaime King and her husband Hollywood screenwriter and director Kyle Newman. The proud parents expressed their joy for the sweet gesture of Taylor Swift for their son. The couple were described as being 'deliriously happy' about what the singer did.
The guests of the party were also happy for her presence in the important event. "You have to admire her for putting friendship, ahead of financial considerations. She said no to a small fortune so she could bring happiness to a good friend."
The seven-time Grammy winner was with her boyfriend record producer and Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. The couple is said to be keen to have their own family.
